Pioneer Park Redevelopment Feedback

Council applied to the State Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund to redevelop Pioneer Park. The proposal is for a master-planned, substantial, multi-age group adventure play facility. It will incorporate swings, rope challenges, slides and other contemporary equipment, safety fencing around the active play component, landscaping, lighting, seating, shade structures and water bubblers.

The funding has been granted by the State Government.

A second phase of the redevelopment, yet unfunded, is intended to include interpretative heritage elements.

Council has resolved to seek community submissions about the two design options that have been prepared for the redevelopment. Please see below for Options 1 and 2.

Your feedback about this important issue is requested. Please use the form (see link below) to advise Council of your preferred option.

Tick either Option 1 or 2 or Neither Option and mail, fax, email or hand deliver the form back to Council. Council’s contact details are on the front page of the newsletter.

You can also provide comments in the space adjacent to each option. The form is semi-interactive, so you can complete and save as a pdf and email to Council. Or simply email Council with your preference – please include “Pioneer Park Redevelopment Options” in the subject line of your email and nominate your preference or make your comment in the body of the email.
