Uralla Street Stall

Uralla Street Stall, 60 Bridge Street, is available for all local non-profit groups to raise funds for their activities during the year.

Council provides and maintains the Uralla Street Stall premises for our generous community groups to use as a secure street stall or kiosk on the main street of Uralla, which is made available rent free for a week for local charities, non-profit organisations and nonprofit sporting clubs to use for fund raising during the year.

Applications are called in October each year for the allocation of the use of the Uralla Street Stall (also known as the Community Store) for the following calendar year. Bookings are confirmed in late November for the whole of the following year. Council may require any group to justify its Uralla Shire Council area base.

Access to the Street Stall

Each year in October, Council contacts all our local service, sporting and community groups, asking for their preferred booking dates (one week) for fundraising.  The register is then booked, with entities often preferring the same week each year so they can start planning their fundraising, plant raising, baking, creating and importantly volunteer scheduling for that week.

When walking down Bridge St you’ll find friendly faces sitting in the street stall and usually with a great range of goods on offer.

Booking the Street Stall

If you would like the opportunity to book the Street Stall, please contact Council on 02 6778 6300 or via email to council@uralla.nsw.gov.au before October to be invited to book a week in the following calendar year. The schedule is usually finalised by late November each year.  A key is available on a $50 deposit, refundable on the return of the key the Monday following their reserved week.
