Water Restrictions
Uralla
Due to dry conditions, the volume of Kentucky Creek Dam has dropped to below 74%. Level 1 water restrictions are currently in place as at Wednesday, 6 February 2019.
The implications of Level 1 water restrictions are:
- Hand held hoses and drip irrigation systems should not be used between 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Sprinklers are permitted for a maximum of two (2) hours per day before 10:00am and 5:00pm
- Cleaning hard surfaces with a hand held hose is not permitted at any time
- Vehicle washing with buckets is permitted at any time
Council staff is continuing to monitor the situation and will update the community via our facebook page, council newsletter and other local print should the condition change.
Bundarra
There are no water restrictions currently in place in Bundarra.
Water Restriction Levels
Level 1 Water Restrictions are triggered when water levels of the Kentucky Creek Dam or Taylors Pond fall below 74%.
