Nominations for the Uralla Shire 2021 Australia Day Awards are now open.

The annual awards recognise citizens’ outstanding contributions to the Uralla Shire community.

Uralla Shire Mayor, Cr Michael Pearce encouraged residents to nominate the inspiring and talented individuals who have gone above and beyond for the community in the past year.

“The Australia Day Awards are a way for the community to recognise and thank the individuals who do amazing work in the Uralla Shire.”

“It’s been a tough year for all of us in the Uralla Shire. Commencing the year in a record-breaking drought and now living with a pandemic, the community has been faced with a number of challenges.”

“Despite these challenges, it’s clear that we have exceptional members of our community who deserve to be recognised,” Mayor Pearce said.
