PUBLIC NOTICE

URALLA WATER RESTRICTIONS:  PROGRESS TO LEVEL 3

Due to continued dry conditions, the volume of the Kentucky Creek Dam has dropped below 54% capacity.  Uralla will commence Level 3 water restrictions on Sunday, 12 May 2019. The implications of Level 3 water restrictions for residents are:

General watering of lawns and gardens using a hand held hose with a trigger nozzle is permitted for a maximum of one (1) hour between the hours of 3pm and 10am.

  • The use of sprinklers and fixed hoses, and watering new turf, is prohibited.
  • Vehicle washing is restricted to cleaning windows.
  • Cartage of town water for the purposes of watering stock is prohibited.
