Uralla Level 2 Water Restrictions

Due to continued dry conditions, the volume of the Kentucky Creek Dam has dropped below 62%. Uralla will commence Level 2 water restrictions on Sunday, 10 March 2019. The implications of Level 2 water restrictions for residents are that:

  • General watering of lawns and gardens is permitted for a maximum of 2 hours and not during the heat of the day. hand held hoses with trigger nozzles, water efficient drip irrigation, or sprinklers can be used before 9:00am and after 5:00pm.
  • Buckets and hand held hoses with trigger nozzles can be used for car washing.
  • Council will reduce watering at Council managed facilities, parks and gardens.
