COVID-19 help for business

Service NSW is working with federal, state and local governments and the the private sector to bring together services and support. 

The UNE SMART Region Incubator (SRI) was successful in securing significant funding from the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund (BLERF), to enable the running of a targeted business recovery program for the region at a significantly-subsidised fee to participants. The SRI has space in this program for another 10-15 businesses to join.

Cohort 1 commences 22-25 November 2021. 

Cohort 2 commences in May 2022.

Economic Development Survey & Business Gap Analysis Report March 2021

Uralla Shire Council sought community input on Economic Development and Business Gaps through independent research with funding form the NSW Bushfire Community Resilience & Economic Recovery Fund. All Businesses in the Shire were invited to participate in the research.

The Rural Financial Counselling Service - NSW Northern Region provides assistance to small business owners that have been adversely affected by drought, bushfires, and COVID-19. The program is provided at no cost to the business owner and is a confidential service to provide individual support and assist in creating a tailored recovery plan.
