Can I recycle plastic bags?
Clean plastic bags are recyclable at the Uralla Landfill and Community Recycling Centre. Do not put plastic bags in your yellow lid kerbside bin as soft plastics can wrap around machinery and cause blockages at our recycling facilities.
Soft plastics such as bread bags, biscuit and confectionery packets, frozen food/rice/pasta plastic bags and old reusable bags can be recycled at the nearest RedCycle drop off point (Coles in Armidale.)
