Community Grants Program - Opening 1st August

Uralla Shire Council’s Community Grants Program Round 1 opens on 1 August 2019.

Community groups and organisations are welcome to apply for up to three thousand dollars ($3000) for a project, activity or event.

Mayor Michael Pearce said Council encourages groups or organisations to apply for a Community Grant to help build community capacity or provide supplementary funding to assist with social, cultural, recreational and environmental outcomes.

“It is important that projects complement Council’s overall objectives in the 2017-2027 Community Strategic Plan,” Mayor Pearce said

Round 1 2019/20 of the Community Grants Program for “Groups and Organisations” will be open for applications from 1 August to 31 August 2019.

Please remember, if you are applying for a Community Grant as an “Individual” you can apply for up to three hundred dollars ($300) any time of year, as long as the application is submitted at least four weeks before the project for which you are applying.
