Update - 25 March 2021:
Yarrowyck Crossing at Sandy Creek remains closed.
Council expects water levels to subside in the next 24 hours.
All other roads in the Uralla Shire have been cleared and reopened.
The following roads have closures due to floodwaters across causeways and low lying areas:
- Old Gostwyck Road at Kelly’s Plains
- Enmore Road - Low level at the boundary with Armidale Regional Council
- Torryburn Road - Low level
- Barraba Road at Bakers Creek
- Bakers Creek Road at Bakers Creek
- Yarrowyck Crossing at Sandy Creek
- Bingara Road
Council reminds the community to exercise caution on flooded roads. Do not drive, ride or walk through floodwater.
The following roads have been reopened as at 24 March 2021:
- Kingstown Road
- Retreat Road
- Gwydir River Road
- Old Kingstown Road – please travel with care
- Box Forrest Road – please travel with care
