Round 1 of Uralla Shire Council’s Community Grants 2020-21 Program will open on 1 August 2020. Community groups and organisations are invited to apply for grants up to $3000 for eligible projects, activities, or events.
The Community Grants Program provides financial support to community groups and organisations to deliver projects and activities which benefit the Uralla Shire community under the following categories:
- Community development
- Arts and cultural development
- Social services
- Environmental initiatives
- Sport and recreational activities
- Educational support
Council encourages groups or organisations in the community to apply for a grant to build community capacity or provide supplementary funding to assist with social, cultural, recreational, educational, and environmental outcomes.
Applications under Round 1 will close at 5:00pm, 31 August 2020. Applications will be assessed and determined at Council’s September 2020 Ordinary Meeting.
Individuals can apply for a Community Grant for up to $300 any time of year, provided that the application is submitted at least four weeks prior to the commencement of the project or activity.
