At its Ordinary Meeting held 27 July 2021, Council resolved to place the DRAFT Media Policy 2021 on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.
The Media Policy establishes a communication protocol between Council and the media that aims to be consistent, well informed, timely and appropriately managed to take advantage of the media’s role in the sharing of information to and within the community.
It also applies to Council’s own media publishing platforms including newsletter, website and social media.

Written submissions can be made to Council until 5:00pm, Monday 30 August 2021.
