QR codes and masks back in council buildings

No longer on display. Expired on 27 January 2022, 05:00 PM

Visitors to council facilities will once again be asked to check in using QR codes following the NSW government’s announcement yesterday that QR codes would again become mandatory in most NSW venues after those rules were relaxed earlier this month.

QR codes will be set up at the visitor information centre, council chambers, landfills, pool, library and customer service centre to allow visitors to check in on arrival.

Using the QR check-in allows visitors to be alerted should they have potentially come into contact with the COVID-19 virus while at one of council’s sites.

While the customer service centre and library will be closed between 24 December and 4 January, it is expected that the QR code check-in system will continue to be in place by the time these facilities re-open.

Face masks are again now required to be worn indoors until 27 January 2021.
