Through the NSW Government’s Bushfire Community Resilience and Economic Recovery Fund – Phase 1, Council is delivering community capacity building projects and facilitating economic development in the Uralla Shire.
To support local businesses in the development of their resilience Council has secured grant funding and arranged for UNE Partnerships to deliver free business resilience training which will be delivered as a two-part webinar on the following dates:
Part 1: Tuesday, 2 March 2021, 7pm – 8.45pm
Part 2: Tuesday, 16 March 2021, 7pm to 8.45pm
Shire businesses are invited to participate in the training free of charge and encouraged to develop their business continuity plan using the Resilience NSW’s Get Ready Business framework. Participants will be able to email questions to the facilitator in between the two training sessions.
Registration for the course closes 7:00pm on Monday, 1 March 2021.

Course Overview
This short course is delivered over a two-week period. You will need to devote approximately 6-12 hours over this period to take part in webinars and complete the Business Readiness Plan.
Registration opens: Thursday, 18 February 2021.
Participants must register using the link provided. Once registered, you’ll be added to the mail out list and provided with the resources and webinar link. Registrations close 7pm 1 March 2021.
Webinar 1: Tuesday, 2nd March, 7pm to 8:45pm
In the first webinar we will discuss the reasoning and approaches to Business Continuity. We will also walk through the ‘Prepare for the Unexpected’ Business Continuity Plan template.
Business Readiness Plan: 3rd – 15th March
Following the webinar, attendees should work on and complete the Business Readiness Plan templates on their own time.
Webinar 2: Tuesday, 16th March, 7pm to 8:45pm
The second seminar will be focussed on answering questions you raise while completing you template plan to enable you to complete your Plan. Learn from the planning considerations other participants raise as well as having your own questions answered.
