Water Restriction Levels

The following levels apply to Kentucky Creek Dam, Uralla:

Level 1, Low, Dam capacity falls to 74%

Level 2, Moderate, Dam capacity falls to 62%

Level 3, High, Dam capacity falls to 54%

Level 4, Very High, Dam capacity falls to 42%

Level 5, Emergency, Dam capacity falls to 35%

Permanent Water Conservation Measures

As part of Council’s overall Demand Management strategy in conserving water at all times (during drought and non‐drought periods), residents are encouraged to adopt permanent water conservation measures including the following:

  1. Minimise watering during the heat of the day.
  2. Use a trigger nozzle on hand held hoses.
  3. Wash down hard/paved surfaces with a high‐pressure hose only.
