Closure of Telstra's 3G Network

Telstra has been requested to fully inform Uralla Shire community on the phasing out of their 3G network. Council is aware of Telstra’s phasing out of the 3G network and that this work may impact on coverage and connectivity within our Shire.

Council is of the view that Telstra needs to do more to ensure our community is fully appraised of the impact of the proposed work and has directly advocated on behalf of the Uralla community for Telstra to ensure that the community is aware of exactly how the transition from the 3G network will impact residences, businesses and personal devices such as media alerts.
