At its Ordinary meeting held 26 October 2021, Council resolved to submit an Expression of Interest for the NSW Government’s Streets as Shared Spaces Program to support a trial of increased outdoor dining and facilitate street activities by business on Council owned roads [35.10/21]:
That Council:
- Submit an EOI for the Streets as Shared Spaces Program for
i. Central business area: Uralla (Bridge St and Hill Street between Salisbury St and King St) $400k; and
ii. Central business area: Bundarra (Bendemeer St between Souter St and Bowline St) $100k.
- Place on public display the EOI and invite submissions.

Paper copies will also be available for viewing at the Uralla and Bundarra libraries, at Council's Customer Service Centre, and at general stores throughout the Shire.
Should Council’s EOI be shortlisted, Council will have the opportunity to submit a full application for funding. Successful projects will be announced in March 2022.
