On Display Indefinitely

There have been changes to the Public Health Orders relating to residential aged care facilities. In the context of rising COVID-19 and Influenza case numbers including the number of residential aged care facilities experiencing COVID-19 and Influenza Outbreaks, McMaugh Gardens continues to follow the NSW Ministry of Health Chief Health Officers advice for Residential Aged Care Facilities including:

  • Recommendation for visitors to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccinations.
  • Recommended limit of visitors of 2 adults and 2 children per resident each day
  • Amendment of the reinfection period from 12 weeks to 4 weeks to align with the AHPPC statement on COVID-19 winter update

McMaugh Gardens does have effective antiviral treatments available and pathways are in place for residents to have early access to treatment.

McMaugh Gardens staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza.

Full screening of all staff and visitors on entry continues.
