Expressions of Interest: Library Volunteers

The Uralla Library is seeking expressions of interest for volunteers to join us at the library. If you have some spare time and would be happy to share the knowledge or interest you have in a particular area, would like to meet other like-minded community members and specifically be happy to share and help others learn a wide variety of new things or improve on the knowledge and skills they have, we would love to hear from you.

Specifically, we would welcome expressions of interest for those who:

  • Are creative crafters that enjoys a variety of craft, such as knitting, crotchet, art and embroidery
  • Are willing to help young people in our community with reading practice and homework
  • Would love to share their knowledge of local history and help others explore our local history
  • Are tech savvy and would be willing to help others with beginner level smart phone, tablet and computer instruction
  • Are willing to share relaxation and mindfulness techniques
  • Are willing to help older members of the community fill in forms and apply for assistance online
